Role Description This is a full-time, in office Sales Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Sales

Engineer will engage with industrial clients to understand their production and packaging requirements, recommend suitable coding and marking solutions, and support the sales process from initial contact to closing. Daily activities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals and quotations, coordinating with technical teams for installations, and providing basic technical guidance to customers. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries,



maintaining relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and documenting all interactions and leads in a structured manner.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand machinery specifications and application requirements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to explain technical concepts clearly and build trust with clients.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field) are beneficial, along with proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
- Experience in industrial machinery, packaging equipment, or coding and marking systems, as well as a willingness to travel locally for client visits, will be an advantage.
