Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Jaora.

The Sales

Engineer will work closely with clients to understand their plant and machinery requirements, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and support the sales process from initial inquiry through order closure. Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, explaining product features and technical specifications, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and providing pre- and post-sales technical guidance. The role involves handling customer queries,



presenting solutions that align with client needs, and maintaining accurate records of opportunities, quotations, and follow-ups.

The Sales

Engineer will also contribute to market research, participate in customer meetings and demonstrations, and support long-term customer relationships through responsive service.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and plant layouts.
- Sales and Customer Service skills for managing inquiries, negotiations, and ongoing client relationships.
- Explicit and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers, internal teams, and vendors.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery or processing plants (e.g., flour, rice, pulses, spices, seed cleaning) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct client visits, and travel as needed within the region.
- Relevant diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or related field) preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and documentation; experience with CRM or sales tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines responsibly.
