Sales Assistant / Cash Counter

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Sales Assistant / Cash Counter Executive to handle billing, cash transactions, customer service, and day-to-day counter operations. The candidate should have good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and a positive attitude toward customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle cash counter and billing operations accurately.
- Generate bills and process cash, card, UPI, and other payments.
- Greet customers and assist them with product selection and queries.
- Maintain proper cash records and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Support daily sales and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Maintain product display, cleanliness, and proper arrangement at the counter.
- Check product availability and coordinate with the store team for replenishment.
- Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when required.
- Assist with opening and closing counter procedures.
- Maintain daily sales and cash reconciliation records.




- Follow company SOPs, hygiene standards, and store policies.

Requirements
- minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in retail, cashier, or cash counter operations.
- Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to handle cash and billing accurately.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
