Position: Safety Officer

Experience: 1–3 Years

Location: Chennai

Employment Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and monitor company/project safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
- Monitor PPE usage and safe working practices at the site.
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, checklists, and incident records.
- Investigate accidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and emergency preparedness.
- Conduct risk assessments and support implementation of preventive measures.





Requirements:

- Diploma/Degree in Safety / Industrial Safety or relevant qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in construction/MEP/HVAC projects preferred.
- Good knowledge of site safety procedures and PPE.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites.
