Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Safety Officer role based at Man Industries (I) Limited in Anjar.

The Safety

Officer will monitor workplace conditions, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations. Daily tasks include identifying hazards, supporting risk assessments, coordinating safety training, and promoting a robust safety culture among employees and contractors. The role also involves investigating incidents and near-misses, preparing reports, and recommending corrective and preventive actions.

Officer will collaborate with operations, maintenance,



and management teams to implement safety procedures and support continuous improvement in occupational health and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices, with the ability to apply regulations and standards in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis, incident reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Understanding of Security procedures and protocols relevant to manufacturing sites, including access control and emergency response coordination.
- Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate Safety Training programs for employees at different levels of the organization.
- Relevant diploma or degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field; professional safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with local and national safety legislation and standards applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage colleagues on safety matters.
- Proven experience in a safety-focused role within industrial, manufacturing, or similar environments is preferred.
