Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Rope Access Technician role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The Rope Access

Technician will perform rope access operations for inspections, maintenance, and cleaning tasks on structures and equipment at height, following company safety procedures and international standards. Daily responsibilities include setting up and operating rope access systems, conducting visual and basic technical inspections, supporting non-destructive testing activities as needed,



and documenting findings in clear inspection reports. The role involves close coordination with inspection engineers and site supervisors, participation in toolbox talks and risk assessments, and adherence to all health, safety, and environmental requirements.

The Rope Access

Technician is expected to maintain equipment in good condition, report hazards promptly, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Rope Access techniques, including safe rigging, climbing, and maneuvering.
- Competence in Working at Height and Work at Height safety practices, including use of PPE and fall protection systems.
- Experience with window cleaning or façade maintenance using rope access methods.
- Ability to perform basic Inspection tasks at height, such as visual checks, recording defects, and supporting NDT personnel.
- Relevant rope access certification (e.g., IRATA or equivalent) and valid working-at-height training.
- Good physical fitness, situational awareness, and adherence to safety protocols in challenging environments.
- Basic understanding of industrial inspection or oil and gas operations is an advantage.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, communicate clearly with team members, and maintain accurate records.
