Purpose/Objective The Team Member - Trucking Logistics is responsible for managing all road transportation logistics, ensuring productive and timely delivery of goods.

This role involves coordinating with transporters, managing Delivery Orders, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and logistics standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Road Transportation Management: - Oversee all road transportation activities, ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods.

- Manage relationships with transporters and their supervisors to facilitate smooth operations. Delivery Order Management and Execution: - Arrange and manage Delivery Orders (D/O) to ensure trucks arrive at the plant for loading as scheduled.

- Ensure timely loading and dispatch of trucks from the plant. Performance Monitoring: - Monitor transporter performance to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

- Implement improvement strategies to enhance road logistics operations. Cost Management: - Monitor transportation costs and implement cost-saving measures.

- Optimize truck routing and scheduling for cost efficiency. Safety and Compliance: - Ensure adherence to safety regulations and compliance with logistics standards.

- Implement safety measures to minimize risks during transportation. Ethical Standards - Use ethical reasoning to guide decisions, considering the broader impact on the organization and stakeholders.

- Ensure all communications, both verbal and written, reflect the organization’s commitment to integrity and ethics.



Policy Adherence and Development - Implement and enforce organizational policies to maintain consistency and alignment with corporate objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification - Master's degree in Business Administration or Operations.

Work Experience (Range of years) - 7+ years of experience in truck logistics, fleet management, and route optimization Industry Knowledge - Demonstrate proficiency in vehicle maintenance, fleet utilization, and cost-effective transportation solutions.
