Job Summary:

Lead the Technology sector coverage for the Merchant Banking division by conducting in-depth industry research, tracking unlisted and emerging companies, identifying IPO opportunities, assessing sector trends, and supporting end-to-end IPO execution activities. The role will serve as the firm's subject matter expert for the Technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently manage the IT & Technology sector, covering Software, IT Services, SaaS, AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, FinTech and emerging technology businesses.

- Conduct deep sector and industry research, including market sizing, industry trends, competitive landscape, growth drivers, business models, regulatory developments and sector-specific KPIs.

- Identify, track and analyse unlisted, pre-IPO and growth-stage technology companies, including their financial performance, management quality, competitive positioning and scalability.

- Prepare detailed company research, sector reports, industry studies, valuation analysis, peer benchmarking and management/business assessment for internal and transaction purposes.





- Conduct primary research and industry due diligence through management interactions, expert discussions, customer/channel checks and other relevant industry sources.

- Support IPO execution and transaction activities through business due diligence, industry analysis, peer comparison, IPO documentation inputs, DRHP/RHP review and preparation of sector-related materials.

- Build and maintain a comprehensive Technology sector intelligence database, continuously tracking companies, transactions, industry developments and potential capital-market opportunities.

Critical Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in Technology Sector Research, Equity Research, Consulting, Investment Banking, Merchant Banking, or Industry Research.

- Strong understanding of Technology industry dynamics, business models, and value chains.

- Experience covering unlisted and growth-stage companies.

- Solid financial analysis, industry research, and report-writing capabilities.
