Role Description The Research Assistant role at AltX Research.nis a full-time, Remote position based in Hyderabad.

The Research

Assistant will support multidisciplinary projects in mental health, psychology, special education, and human development by assisting with literature reviews, data collection, data entry, and maintaining accurate research records. Daily responsibilities include coordinating research activities, preparing study materials and documentation, supporting program evaluation tasks, and ensuring adherence to ethical and methodological standards. The role also involves collaborating with senior researchers, organizing and summarizing findings,



contributing to reports and presentations, and assisting with communication between project stakeholders and partner organizations.

The Research

Assistant will help facilitate smooth project operations and contribute to the translation of research outcomes into practical interventions and programs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Research and Analytical Skills to support study design, literature reviews, data collection, and interpretation of findings.
- Candidates should possess solid Data Analysis skills, including familiarity with quantitative and qualitative methods, and basic proficiency with statistical or analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, or similar).
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, the ability to prepare reports and presentations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills or hands-on research skills where applicable, including accurate documentation, adherence to protocols, and attention to ethical and safety standards.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, education, behavioral sciences, public health, or a related field; solid organizational and time-management abilities; familiarity with program evaluation or field-based research; and an interest in mental health, neurodiversity, and inclusive education.
