Role Description

We are seeking a motivated Research & Development (R&D;) Specialist to join GenoThrive Biotech in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will contribute to laboratory research, experimental planning, method development, project execution, data analysis, scientific documentation, and R&D; activities.

The candidate will work closely with the laboratory team to plan and execute experiments, maintain accurate laboratory records, analyze and interpret experimental results, troubleshoot technical issues, and support ongoing research and development projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, design, and execute biotechnology and life science experiments.




- Conduct laboratory R&D; activities according to approved protocols and safety requirements.
- Support development and optimization of experimental methods and laboratory protocols.
- Analyze, interpret, and document experimental results accurately.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks, research records, raw data, protocols, and technical documentation.
- Prepare research reports, technical summaries, presentations, and project documentation.
- Troubleshoot experimental and laboratory-related technical issues.
- Support academic and industrial research projects undertaken by the laboratory.
- Guide and support students/interns during laboratory research and project activities when required.
- Assist with laboratory equipment operation, maintenance, calibration coordination, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, SOPs, quality practices, and good documentation practices.
- Collaborate with researchers and other technical team members on multidisciplinary projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory and R&D; workflows.

Educational Qualifications

- M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Life Sciences, or a closely related discipline.

OR
- Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

- Ph.D. candidates with strong research expertise and M.Sc. candidates with good hands-on laboratory/research experience are encouraged to apply.
