Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced R&D; Manager – Sauces & Seasoning to lead product development, formulation, trials, standardization, and commercialization of sauces, seasonings, and related food products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and improve sauces, gravies, seasonings, dips, and food premixes.
- Create and optimize formulations based on taste, quality, cost, shelf life, and scalability.




- Conduct lab trials, pilot trials, and production trials.
- Develop product specifications, BOMs, recipes, and process parameters.
- Conduct sensory evaluation and coordinate product testing.
- Work closely with Production, QA/QC, Purchase, and Packaging teams for commercialization.
- Identify suitable raw materials, ingredients, and alternatives for cost optimization.
- Ensure products comply with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements.
- Conduct shelf-life studies and troubleshoot product quality issues.
- Maintain proper R&D; documentation, trial reports, and formulation records.
- Support new product launches and continuous product improvement.

Candidate Profile:

- Education: B.Tech/M.Tech Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 6–12 years in Food R&D;/Product Development, preferably in sauces, seasonings, condiments, RTE/RTH, or FMCG food manufacturing.
- Robust hands-on knowledge of food formulation, ingredients, emulsification, preservation, seasoning blends, and shelf-life management.
- Experience in taking products from concept → formulation → trial → production commercialization.
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
