: The company is seeking a visionary Regional Operations Manager to lead efforts in enhancing process and operational excellence, building high-performance teams, and driving digital transformation. This role involves setting new benchmarks of operational excellence within the industry, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability. The company is a pioneering cooling-as-a-service (CaaS) startup aiming to mitigate significant CO2 emissions through innovative business models and IoT platform technology.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive operational strategy across all regional sites (East, West, North), ensuring alignment with Smart Joules' overall business objectives and long-term vision.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire Smart Joules' multi-city maintenance and site energy management teams (currently 12 members across 9 cities, rapidly expanding).
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team's professional growth and adherence to Smart Joules' Core Values and Company Policies.
- Drive initiatives for process and operational excellence.
- Oversee the successful adoption and optimization of digital tools, including DeJoule, to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and operational work ows.
- Proactively identify opportunities for automation and technological integration.
- Call each client at least once per month as a regular practice to ensure Smart Joules discovers all client needs and desires and gives a timely and appropriate response.
- Ensure site energy managers keep track of all additions, subtractions and other changes at our client sites that impact energy consumption patterns.
- Deliver all necessary information every month (energy bills and consumption details, Adjustments notes, photos, work details, etc.) in a timely manner to Smart Joules' nance department and submit hard copies to clients on time without fail.
- Oversee the implementation and rigorous adherence to Smart Joules' Standard Operating, Maintenance,



and Protocols across all sites.
- Periodically review, re ne, and improve these procedures in close coordination with site energy managers and the COO, ensuring best-in-class operational standards.
- Drive the comprehensive strategy for tracking, analyzing, and signi cantly increasing energy savings across all client sites.
- Oversee detailed daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring of energy consumption, ensuring a deep understanding of each building's energy consumption patterns and key causes of uctuations.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, insightful reports from the operations department.
- This includes overseeing daily energy savings reports, comprehensive weekly maintenance and savings reports, and detailed monthly reports for both internal strategic discussions and external client presentations.
- Ensure site energy managers meticulously track all additions, subtractions, and changes at client sites impacting energy consumption.
- Guarantee the timely and accurate submission of all necessary nancial information (energy bills, consumption details, adjustment notes, photos, work details, etc.) to Smart Joules' nance department, and ensure hard copies are delivered to clients without fail.

Candidate Attributes:

- At-least 10 years of work experience in senior maintenance positions in hotels and/or hospital buildings, preferably across multiple locations.
- Expertise and considerable experience with operations, maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and optimization of central chiller plants (both water-cooled and air-cooled).
- Experience with energy monitoring and control systems, with a valuable understanding of typical instrumentation in buildings (sensors, meters, controllers, networking, etc.).
- Knowledge of electrical systems is sufficient to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and repair HVAC automation systems.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, including mastery of communication with technicians, engineers, managers and executives at all levels.
- Pro ciency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
