About the Role GlobeTrek Overseas is looking for a dynamic and well-connected Regional Head – North East India to lead our marketing, outreach and partnership development initiatives across the North East region.

The person will be responsible for building GlobeTrek’s presence in the region, developing strategic partnerships with colleges, universities, educational institutions, student communities and other relevant organisations, and generating opportunities for GlobeTrek’s study-abroad services.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who understands the local market, enjoys networking and relationship-building, and can independently develop and execute regional growth initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Marketing & Brand Building • Develop and execute marketing strategies for GlobeTrek across the North East region.

- Increase GlobeTrek’s brand visibility among students, parents, colleges and educational communities.
- Plan and coordinate college visits, seminars, workshops, education fairs, student counselling events and other promotional activities.
- Identify suitable local marketing channels, communities and events for GlobeTrek’s outreach.
- Work closely with the central marketing team to execute regional campaigns and promotional activities.

Partnership Development • Identify and build partnerships with colleges, universities, coaching institutes, educational consultants, student organisations and relevant institutions.

- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers and institutional representatives.
- Conduct meetings,



presentations and partnership discussions on behalf of GlobeTrek.
- Explore opportunities for institutional tie-ups, student outreach programmes, seminars and collaborative events.
- Manage the relationship lifecycle from initial outreach to onboarding and continued engagement.

Business Development & Student Outreach • Identify new opportunities for student acquisition and regional expansion.

- Generate qualified leads through partnerships, events, institutional outreach and local marketing activities.
- Coordinate with GlobeTrek’s counselling and admissions teams to ensure smooth handling of leads generated through the region.
- Track regional leads, partnerships, events and conversion opportunities.
- Provide regular updates and reports on regional activities and performance.

Regional Representation • Represent GlobeTrek Overseas at relevant education fairs, institutional meetings, seminars and networking events.

- Act as the key regional point of contact for GlobeTrek’s North East initiatives.
- Understand local student preferences, market trends, competitor activity and partnership opportunities.
- Share regional market insights with the management and suggest new growth opportunities.

Internal Coordination • Coordinate with the Marketing, Counselling, Admissions and Management teams for regional campaigns and activities.

- Ensure proper follow-up and documentation of partnerships and leads.




- Support the development of region-specific marketing strategies and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Communications, Education or a related field.

- Experience in marketing, business development, partnerships, education, study abroad, EdTech or a related industry will be preferred.
- Strong local network and understanding of the North East India education market will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Ability to independently approach institutions and establish new partnerships.
- Willingness to travel within the North East region for meetings, events and institutional outreach.
- Strong ownership, initiative and execution skills.
