Insurance / Reinsurance Accounting 3+ Years Noida

Summary

We are looking for experienced professionals in Insurance / Reinsurance Accounting to join our finance and accounting team in Noida. The role will focus on ceded reinsurance accounting, financial and management reporting, regulatory reporting, reconciliations, journal entries and reinsurance-related transactions. Candidates with strong insurance or reinsurance accounting experience and an understanding of US GAAP will be preferred.

You will collaborate with finance, accounting and reinsurance stakeholders while gaining exposure to US GAAP and international insurance operations.

Responsibilities

1. Manage accounting for ceded premium, commission, UEP, claims, reserves and cash transactions.
2. Prepare financial and management reports and support regulatory reporting including Schedule P and Schedule F.
3. Review ceded premium and loss results from the reinsurance system and manage reinsurance payments to brokers/reinsurers.
4. Perform accounting transactions, manual/top-side journal entries, GL, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
5. Review claims billings and ensure accurate and timely accounting, reporting and reconciliation of reinsurance-related transactions.

Requirements

1. 3+ years of experience in Insurance Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting or a closely related finance domain.
2. Strong knowledge of ceded reinsurance, including premium, commission, claims, reserves and related accounting processes.
3. Good understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting and regulatory reporting; knowledge of Schedule P and Schedule F is preferred.
4. Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with hands-on experience in GL, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
5. Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree in Accounting,



Finance or related discipline; MBA Finance or Insurance/Reinsurance certification will be an added advantage.
