About the Role

We are looking for experienced Rebar Estimators to support U.S.-based rebar fabrication and supply projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing structural and architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and project documents to prepare accurate reinforcing steel quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities

- Review structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

- Perform detailed rebar quantity takeoffs for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

- Calculate reinforcing steel quantities by bar size, length, weight/tonnage, and project area.

- Identify reinforcement requirements for foundations, slabs, walls, columns, beams, elevated structures, and specialty structures.

- Analyze drawing revisions and addenda to identify quantity changes.

- Prepare takeoff summaries, estimating worksheets, and bid documentation.

- Identify missing information, drawing conflicts, and scope clarifications requiring RFIs.

- Maintain accurate estimate records, documentation, and revision history.





- Coordinate with senior estimators, checkers, and U.S.-based project teams.

- Meet productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience in rebar/reinforcing steel estimating.

- Solid ability to read and interpret U.S. structural and architectural drawings.

- Hands-on experience with Bluebeam and/or PlanSwift.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Familiarity with ACI, CRSI, and ASTM standards.

- Strong understanding of rebar sizes, spacing, lap splices, hooks, bends, dowels, and reinforcing terminology.

- Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Soule software.

- Prior experience working with U.S. or Canadian rebar fabrication companies.

- Exposure to data centers, tilt-up construction, elevated structures, wastewater, energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects
