About The Role

Maxonic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated React UI Engineer to join our client's dynamic team on a contract basis. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge web applications that impact clinical and healthcare sectors. As a React UI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and scalable front-end solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in React.js and related web technologies, with a passion for creating intuitive user interfaces and enhancing user experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, data analytics, and security to reimagine how data is utilized internally and externally, ultimately contributing to innovative healthcare solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience coupled with extensive expertise in front-end development. A minimum of six years of experience designing and developing responsive React applications is required,



along with at least four years of experience building React component libraries for cross-functional use. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, JSX, HTML5, Sass/SCSS, and styled-components is essential.

Familiarity with modern web development tools such as Redux, bootstrap, Node.js, npm, webpack, Babel, and Gulp is expected. Candidates should demonstrate strong CSS skills, experience in building cross-browser and cross-device applications, and expertise in testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library. Knowledge of source control systems such as Git or Bitbucket, along with experience rendering 3D models in browsers using formats like glTF or glb, is a plus.

Additionally, familiarity with React workflows like Context API and Redux, and the ability to create comprehensive technical documentation, are highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain high-quality web applications following best practices and architectural standards.
- Create scalable, reliable, and performant front-end components with a focus on user experience.
- Implement responsive designs that function seamlessly across various browsers and devices.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and security protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design, engineering, QA, cyber security,



and data analytics to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices to support the organization’s digital transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the development team.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, anticipate potential blockers, and communicate delays proactively to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Engage in testing and debugging to ensure optimal application performance and reliability.
