Raw Material Receipt & Unloading

- Maintain proper stacking, segregation and identification of different raw materials.

- Ensure FIFO/appropriate material consumption practices wherever applicable.

- Maintain adequate space for incoming materials and movement of handling equipment.

- Coordinate with equipment operators for loading, unloading, shifting and stacking activities.

C. Inventory & Stock Control

- Maintain daily records of opening stock, receipts, consumption, transfers and closing stock.

- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system/book stock.

- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and highlight shortages or excess inventory.

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly raw material stock reports.





- Support reconciliation of stock differences and investigate abnormal variances.

Material

Feeding to Production

- Coordinate with Production/Operation teams for timely availability and feeding of raw materials.

- Ensure correct material is issued/shifted as per production requirements.

- Monitor material movement from yard to respective process areas.

- Minimize material handling losses, spillage and unnecessary movement.

- Ensure uninterrupted availability of critical raw materials.
