Role Description The R Programming Trainer role is an on-site position based in Yelahanka. In this role, the trainer designs and delivers R programming courses, including preparing lesson plans, practical exercises, and real-world projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include teaching learners of varying skill levels, explaining core R concepts, guiding them through coding assignments, and providing individual feedback on their progress.

The trainer also updates course materials to reflect current best practices, collaborates with colleagues to improve training methods, and supports learners in applying R to data analysis and problem-solving.



Administrative tasks such as tracking attendance, assessing performance, and reporting training outcomes are also part of the role.

Qualifications

- Solid proficiency in R programming, including data manipulation, visualization, and package usage for analysis.
- Ability to design structured training content, create clear examples, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
- Experience delivering instructor-led training or workshops, with confidence in explaining technical concepts in accessible language.
- Familiarity with basic statistics and data analysis workflows, and the ability to demonstrate practical applications using R.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with learners and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (such as Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience as a trainer, teaching assistant, or mentor in programming or data-related subjects is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Yelahanka and maintain a consistent training schedule.
