Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Perform pre-bid estimation for Building & Infrastructure Projects, Power Plants, Substations, and Transmission Line projects.
- Analyze tender documents, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements.
- Identify scope gaps, design variations, and value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs.
- Prepare detailed quantity surveys in line with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with design, estimation, and tendering teams during bid preparation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable measurement standards and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma in Civil Engineering





8-12 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in Pre-Bid Estimation.
- Robust knowledge of Building & Infrastructure, Power Plant, Substation, and Transmission Line projects.

- Proficiency in

- AutoCAD (2D/3D)

- Revit (BIM)

- PlanSwift

- MS Office Suite
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, building systems, finishing materials, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of international measurement standards such as:
- NRM 1, NRM 2 & NRM 3

- SMM7

- CESMM
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
