Roles & Responsibilities:

- Study project drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare and submit BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost summaries, and tender documentation.
- Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Conduct site visits and attend pre-tender meetings if necessary.
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and procurement teams for accurate project costing.
- Evaluate and compare supplier quotes, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor cost trends and provide value engineering suggestions.




- Update and maintain a database of pricing, suppliers, and material costs.
- Assist in preparing variations and change orders during the course of the project.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in estimating within the interior fit-out or construction industry.
- Solid knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, MEP, and furniture used in interior projects.
- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Candy).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of local market prices, vendors, and construction regulations is a plus.
