About the Project

This position is part of a construction project at Palhera, Meerut, involving development of UPSRTC Maintenance Workshop/Depot facilities being constructed by NCRTC for the Delhi-Meerut RRTS Corridor. The scope includes administrative buildings, depot/workshop structures, PEB and steel structures, maintenance pits, roads and associated civil, structural, architectural and electrical works.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage the overall quality assurance and quality control activities for the project. The role will be responsible for implementing quality systems, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes and project requirements, managing inspections and testing, monitoring workmanship, resolving quality issues and coordinating with the Engineer-in-Charge and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all QA/QC activities across the project site.
- Develop, implement and monitor project quality plans, procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality control systems.
- Ensure all civil, structural, architectural and related works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements and applicable standards.
- Plan and supervise inspections and testing at different stages of construction.
- Review and monitor material approvals, material testing, laboratory reports and quality documentation.
- Ensure proper inspection and approval of incoming construction materials before use.
- Monitor workmanship, dimensions, levels, alignment and other quality parameters across project activities.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors and execution teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and followed.




- Identify quality deviations and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Review and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations and quality-related issues.
- Monitor recurring quality issues and implement measures to prevent their repetition.
- Maintain and review inspection requests, checklists, test reports, quality records and other QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with the Engineer-in-Charge, client representatives, consultants and other project stakeholders for inspections, approvals and quality-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, approved procedures and contractual quality requirements.
- Conduct regular quality audits and site inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with testing agencies, laboratories and third-party inspection agencies, wherever required.
- Monitor quality performance of subcontractors and vendors and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date quality records for project documentation and handover.
- Prepare and submit regular quality reports and updates to project management.
- Coordinate with the project execution team to ensure quality requirements are incorporated into project planning and execution.
- Support final inspections, snag rectification, completion documentation and project handover activities.




- Lead and guide the team of Quality Engineers, Supervisors and other QA/QC personnel deployed on the project.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction quality assurance and quality control.
- Relevant experience in a Quality Manager / QA-QC Manager / Senior Quality Engineer or similar managerial role.
- Strong experience in large-scale building, infrastructure, EPC or similar construction projects.
- Experience in managing QA/QC teams and overall project quality activities.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, testing, inspection procedures, drawings, specifications and quality documentation.
- Positive understanding of relevant IS codes, project specifications, ITPs, method statements, NCRs and corrective/preventive actions.
- Strong coordination, documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, Engineer-in-Charge and other project representatives will be preferred.
- Experience in railway, metro, depot, workshop, highway, bridge, flyover or other major infrastructure projects will be preferred.
- Willingness to work at the project site in Palhera, Meerut.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

- Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
