- Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance: Implement and maintain systems aligned with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards specific to automotive requirements.

- Forging Process &
- Metallurgy Control

: Monitor critical parameters like heating temperature, die wear, forging pressure, and post-forging heat treatment to prevent internal defects (cracks, folds, porosity).

- Incoming &

- Raw Material Inspection

: Validate chemical composition, micro-structure, and mechanical properties of raw steel billets or bars received from suppliers.

- Dimensional &

- NDT Testing

: Oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) like magnetic particle inspection (MPI) or ultrasonic testing (UT), alongside dimensional checks using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).

- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) &

- Corrective Actions

: Lead problem-solving using tools like 8D,



Ishikawa (fishbone) diagrams, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) when rejections occur.

- Customer Audits &

- Rejections

: Handle customer quality complaints, visit OEM plants for resolution, and transparent PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation for new auto parts.

- Supplier Quality Management: Audit external raw material and sub-contract machining vendors to control incoming part rejection rates.

- Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) Reduction: Drive Lean and Six Sigma projects to cut scrap, rework, and internal rejection rates.
