Role & responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures for machine shop operations.

- Conduct inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.

- Identify areas for quality improvement and work collaboratively with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Analyze root causes of quality issues and develop solutions to address them.

- Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and findings.

- Prepare quality reports and communicate quality metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.

- Provide training to machine shop personnel on quality control processes and best practices.





- Perform mechanical and dimensional testing on machined components using various measurement tools and equipment.

- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) when required.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Production Engineering.

- Proven experience in a quality engineering role within a machine shop.

- Proficiency in quality control methodologies, tools, and software.

- Solid knowledge of machining processes and machine shop equipment.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Familiarity with ISO and industry-specific quality standards.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
