Role Description The Quality Engineer – QA, ISO & Internal Audit will support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Dunbar & Boardman's Quality Management System (QMS) across our Vertical Transportation and Façade Access consultancy operations. The role will focus on ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, D&B;'s internal procedures and established project-delivery standards.

The Quality

Engineer will conduct and coordinate internal quality audits, review project documentation and processes for compliance, identify non-conformities and improvement opportunities, and monitor corrective actions through to closure. Day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining QMS documentation, audit schedules and quality records; reviewing compliance with project procedures and document-control requirements; supporting the development and updating of procedures, templates and checklists; monitoring quality KPIs; and preparing periodic quality and audit reports for management.

The role will work closely with Project Managers, Portfolio Leads, Project Support Officers and technical teams to promote consistent quality standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the organisation.

The Quality





Engineer will also support external certification and surveillance audits, coordinate the implementation of audit findings and assist in maintaining D&B;'s ISO certifications and quality-management framework. This is a full-time position based in India, supporting D&B;'s operations and project teams across India, the Middle East, the UK and international markets.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quality Management or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems, ISO compliance or internal auditing, preferably within an engineering, design, architecture or project-management consultancy.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification/training preferred.
- Experience in conducting or supporting internal quality audits, maintaining audit records and following up corrective actions.
- Understanding of QMS procedures, document control, quality records, NCRs, corrective actions and continuous-improvement processes.
- Ability to review project documentation and verify compliance with established company procedures and quality requirements.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to maintain quality trackers and prepare reports/KPIs.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and confidence to independently identify and report non-compliances.
- Exposure to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, CDEs or other digital document/project-management platforms would be advantageous.
