Role Description The Quality Control Chemist role is a full time, on-site position based at Veeyor Polymers’ facility in Malur.

The Quality Control

Chemist is responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished epoxy and polyurethane products to ensure they meet internal specifications and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include preparing and analyzing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting test results, and reporting any deviations or non-conformities. The role also involves calibrating instruments, supporting process improvement initiatives,



collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues, and maintaining safe laboratory practices. The chemist is expected to follow established quality protocols, contribute to method development, and support continuous improvement of quality control procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong Quality Control skills, including inspection, testing, and verification of materials and finished products.
- Laboratory Skills in sample preparation, handling of chemicals, and adherence to safety and good laboratory practices.
- Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, identifying trends, and troubleshooting quality issues.
- Proficiency with Laboratory Equipment such as balances, spectrometers, titration systems, and other relevant instruments.
- Experience with Calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with epoxy and polyurethane systems or polymer chemistry is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to follow standardized procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production, R&D;, and management.
- Ability to work on-site in Malur and comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies.
