Experience: 2–6 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections of products manufactured at the unit.
- Inspect raw materials, components, fabricated parts, and finished products as per approved specifications and quality standards.
- Verify dimensions, measurements, workmanship, welding, fabrication, finishing, and assembly quality using appropriate inspection tools.
- Review and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality requirements.
- Identify, record, and report quality deviations and non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with the production team.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality records, material inspection reports, and test reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Procurement, Stores,



and Project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor production activities and ensure that quality checks are carried out at the required stages before products are released.
- Conduct final inspection and clearance of finished products before dispatch and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain quality standards in the manufacturing unit and support continuous improvement, internal audits, and reduction of rework and rejection.
