: Quality & Safety Coordinator (Telecom Industry)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Quality and Safety Coordinator to oversee, implement, and maintain our Quality Assurance (QA) and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. In the telecom industry, infrastructure deployment happens across diverse environments, from active roadways to high-altitude cell towers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all field engineering teams, tower climbers, and contractors strictly adhere to safety regulations while maintaining high-quality standards in fiber optic deployments, cell site construction, and equipment installations.

Key Responsibilities

- Safety Compliance & EHS Management: Implement, update, and enforce company health and safety policies in compliance with national and local regulations
- Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular field audits and safety inspections at telecom tower sites, data centers, and fiber trenching locations to ensure zero-hazard environments.
- Telecom Quality Assurance: Audit installation projects (fiber-to-the-home, 5G/4G equipment, small cells) to ensure engineering standards, cable routing, labelling, and signal testing comply with quality SLAs.
- Risk Assessments & JSA: Prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and risk assessments for high-risk operations, including working at heights (tower climbing), electrical work, and confined spaces.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations for any workplace near-misses, injuries, or quality failures,



performing root-cause analysis and creating corrective/preventive action (CAPA) plans.
- Training & Onboarding: Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors, covering topics like fall protection, RF (Radio Frequency) radiation awareness, and PPE usage.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise safety records, quality logs, and incident reports; compile monthly safety and quality metrics for leadership review.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

Any Graduation degree, Knowledge in Environmental Health & Safety, or a related technical discipline.

Certifications

- Valid EHS Certification
- Tower Climbing Safety / Rescue certification is highly preferred.
- Freshers will be trained under experienced Management

Experience 0 to 5+ years of experience in a safety or quality assurance role, specifically within telecom infrastructure, utilities, or heavy construction.

Technical Knowledge

- Deep understanding of telecom field operations (tower construction, fiber splicing, OSP / ISP / TSP).
- Knowledge of RF hazard mitigation and working-at-heights safety protocols.

Soft Skills Strong leadership, assertive communication to halt unsafe work, excellent report writing, and strong crisis management skills.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
