We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality &

- Metrology Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing advanced gauging applications, managing multi-gauging and standard gauging inspections, and driving statistical quality control processes to ensure zero-defect manufacturing.Key Responsibilities

- Gauging Application &
- Inspection:

Design, implement, and manage advanced gauging applications. Perform routine and specialized inspection of components using multi-gauging systems and standard gauging instruments (micrometres, vernier calipers, height gauges, plug/ring gauges).

- Process Capability &

- Analysis:

Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools. Calculate and evaluate Process Capability (Cp, Cpk) to ensure production lines meet quality tolerances.

- GD&T; Interpretation: Read and precisely interpret complex engineering drawings. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) parameters to setup accurate inspection methods.

- Gauging System Validation: Conduct Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) to evaluate the capability of gauges. Regularly determine and analyze Gauge Capability (Cg) and Gauge Repeatability indices (Cgk) to ensure measurement reliability.

- Quality Control &

- Audits:





Lead root-cause analysis investigations for dimensions that fall out of specification. Assist in internal and external quality audits.

Required Technical Skills

- Gauging &
- Metrology:

Proven experience in operating and programming multi-gauging fixtures and standard metrology equipment.

- GD&T; Expertise: Strong working knowledge of GD&T; symbols, parameters, and ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.

- Statistical Quality Control: Hands-on experience with statistical software (like Minitab or Q-DAS) to calculate Cp, Cpk, Cg, and Cgk.

- Drawing Interpretation: Deep understanding of blueprints, engineering designs, and technical specifications.

Qualifications &

- Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a precision manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace machining setting focusing on quality control and metrology.

- Certifications (Preferred): ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or formal training in GD&T; and MSA.

Pay: ₹13,962.23 - ₹60,861.21 per month
