QMS / QA Executive

Job Summary

Responsible for implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000 and BRCGS requirements. The role includes documentation, internal audits, CAPA, compliance monitoring, risk assessment and coordination for customer and certification audits.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain QMS and FSMS requirements as per ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000 and BRCGS.
- Prepare, review, revise and control SOPs, Work Instructions, formats, policies and records.
- Maintain Master List of Documents and Master List of Records.
- Ensure proper document revision, approval, distribution and control of obsolete documents.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external, customer and certification audits.
- Handle Non-Conformities (NC), Corrective Actions and CAPA.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone and other appropriate tools.
- Maintain HACCP plans, hazard analysis, risk assessments and PRP/OPRP/CCP documentation.
- Monitor GMP, GHP, hygiene and food safety requirements.
- Maintain traceability and mock recall documentation.
- Maintain Food Defense and Food Fraud documentation.
- Handle customer complaints, investigation, RCA and corrective actions.
- Maintain training, calibration, cleaning, sanitation and pest-control records.
- Support supplier evaluation and supplier quality documentation.
- Coordinate Management Review Meetings and maintain related records.
- Control changes affecting quality, food safety, processes and documentation.
- Monitor quality objectives, KPIs and continual improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable customer, statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Quality Management or a relevant field.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000 and BRCGS requirements.
- Internal Auditor/HACCP training or relevant certification is an advantage.

Experience

- Experience in QMS/QA/food safety documentation and audit coordination.
- Experience in food manufacturing or a related industry is preferred.
