Role Summary The QC In-Charge – Production Planning will be responsible for coordinating production planning, quality control, production monitoring, and MIS reporting to ensure timely production as per customer specifications, approved quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Monitoring

- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders, capacity, and delivery schedules.
- Track planned vs. actual production, machine-wise and department-wise performance, pending orders, and production delays.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution of the production plan.
- Identify bottlenecks, shortages, downtime, and deviations and escalate critical issues to management.

Quality Control
- Supervise quality checks of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods as per approved specifications and customer requirements.
- Monitor quality parameters across Tape, Loom, Lamination, Printing, Cutting, Stitching, and Packing processes, as applicable.
- Control rejection, wastage, rework, and non-conforming products and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain inspection, testing, quality deviation, rejection, and corrective-action records.

MIS & Reporting




- Prepare daily Production Plan vs. Achievement and quality reports.
- Maintain order-wise production status, pending production, rejection/wastage, and machine-wise performance reports.
- Analyse production and quality data and provide actionable information to Plant Head / Management.

Process & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with QC and Production teams to ensure compliance with SOPs, specifications, and production instructions.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of production and quality records.
- Identify recurring production/quality issues and recommend process improvements.
- Support internal/external audits and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech in Production, Mechanical, Textile, Polymer, Quality, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Production Planning / Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in PP / BOPP woven sacks, plastic, packaging, or textile manufacturing will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/MIS reporting, production planning, and quality control.
