Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor the QA team, assigning tasks and reviewing test deliverables.
- Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle including functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
- Design and maintain automation testing frameworks and scripts (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Set up and manage test environments and test data.
- Track, log, and manage defects through to resolution using bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Drive process improvements to increase testing efficiency and product quality.
- Leverage AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.) for test case generation, automation scripting, and reporting.
- Prepare and present QA metrics, test reports, and release readiness status to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices across projects.

Required Skills & Experience





- 6+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 1-2 years in a lead/senior role.
- Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
- Strong knowledge of SQL for backend/database validation.
- Mandatory working knowledge of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.) for day-to-day work.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with strong stakeholder management ability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Positive to Have

- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to CI/CD integration of automated test suites.
- Knowledge of mobile app testing (iOS/Android) and cross-browser testing.
- Familiarity with e-commerce/Shopify platform testing.
- Certifications such as ISTQB.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
