Job Title : QA Automation Engineer(Oracle Fusion Testing)

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team and take ownership of quality assurance across critical enterprise platforms, with a primary focus on Mobile Applications and Oracle Fusion ERP. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, mobile application testing, enterprise application testing, performance engineering, API testing, and manual/exploratory testing. This role requires a hands-on QA professional who can work independently within an Agile delivery environment, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality releases through effective test strategy, automation, defect management, and quality reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

- Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to identify testable scenarios, edge cases, dependencies, and potential risks.
- Define acceptance criteria in collaboration with Business Analysts, Product Owners, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Establish appropriate testing approaches based on application complexity, business impact, and release requirements.

Test Automation
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using mabl.
- Automate functional, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios for web and enterprise applications.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to provide continuous quality feedback.
- Maintain and optimize automation scripts as application functionality and business requirements evolve.
- Identify suitable candidates for automation and continuously improve automation coverage.

Mobile Application Testing
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for mobile applications.
- Test applications across iOS and Android platforms.
- Validate mobile UI/UX, navigation, push notifications, offline functionality, and application behavior.




- Validate mobile application integrations with APIs and backend systems.
- Coordinate device and OS-version coverage and perform compatibility testing across targeted devices.
- Identify and report mobile-specific usability, compatibility, and functional issues.

Performance & Load Testing
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests.
- Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and potential failure points.
- Establish performance baselines and monitor key performance indicators against defined SLAs.
- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve performance issues.
- Document performance findings and provide actionable recommendations.

Manual & Exploratory Testing
- Perform structured manual and exploratory testing to identify defects that may not be detected through automation.
- Execute end-to-end business process testing for Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Test relevant Oracle Fusion modules such as Finance, HR, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
- Validate integrations between Oracle Fusion and third-party/internal enterprise systems.
- Perform regression and integration testing during application releases and enhancements.

API & Backend Testing
- Perform REST API testing and integration validation.
- Validate API requests, responses, status codes, authentication, data integrity, and error handling.
- Use SQL for backend data validation and database-level testing.
- Verify consistency between frontend applications, APIs, and backend systems.

Defect Management & Reporting
- Identify, document, and track defects with explicit reproduction steps, severity, priority, and supporting evidence.




- Collaborate with development and business teams during defect triage and resolution.
- Maintain accurate defect status throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Prepare QA status reports, test summary reports, quality metrics, and dashboards.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, blockers, and quality concerns to project stakeholders.

Agile Collaboration
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure testing activities are aligned with sprint and release timelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and delivery quality.

Experience & Qualifications
- 8–12 years of overall experience in QA/testing, with strong hands-on experience in enterprise application testing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. MBA in Information Systems may also be considered.
- Proven experience in test automation and enterprise application QA.
- Experience testing ERP platforms, preferably Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with mobile application testing across iOS and/or Android.
- Strong understanding of API testing, database validation, and performance testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities within strict deadlines.
