We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in Python, modern web development, and AWS cloud-native technologies. The engineer should be self-sufficient and capable of owning features end-to-end from technical design and backend/API development through UI integration, deployment, observability, troubleshooting, and production support. The role will contribute to the modernization and development of the IPRS platform, including REST APIs, microservices, cloud-native services, and existing integrations.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and cloud-native services. Build production-grade backend services and REST APIs using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI/Django. Develop and integrate modern web UI components using React, Angular, or similar JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

Own features end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support. Develop and operate services on AWS, particularly Lambda and ECS. Work with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, including data modelling, querying, and performance optimization.

Build containerized applications using Docker and contribute to CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code. Work with CloudFormation (CFT); Terraform experience is also valuable. Implement application observability using OpenTelemetry and AWS CloudWatch, including logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring.

Design systems for scalability, reliability, availability, fault tolerance, and performance. Contribute to modernization of legacy/SOAP integrations toward RESTful APIs and microservices. Troubleshoot complex application, integration, cloud, and production issues independently.

Participate in architecture/design discussions, code reviews, testing, and technical-debt reduction. Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders. Must-Have Skills Strong Python development experience, particularly backend/service development.

Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django,



or equivalent Python web frameworks. Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices. Good understanding of Python fundamentals including OOP, async programming, concurrency, exception handling, testing, and performance.

Hands-on full-stack experience with a modern frontend framework such as React or Angular, along with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Strong practical experience with AWS cloud-native development. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as: Lambda ECS CloudWatch Experience with Docker/containerized applications.

Experience with CloudFormation (CFT) or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.

Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB. Strong understanding of CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.

Experience with application observability, preferably OpenTelemetry and CloudWatch. Good understanding of distributed-system concepts including retries, timeouts, resilience, scalability, and fault tolerance. Strong automated testing and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently and own technical problems end-to-end. Good to Have C++ knowledge or experience working with C++-based/legacy components. Kubernetes experience. Terraform experience. Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming technologies.

Redis or other caching technologies. Serverless/event-driven architecture experience. SOAP/XML integration and modernization experience. Airline, travel, reservation, or transaction-intensive system experience.

AWS certification. What We’re Looking For The key requirement is a senior, hands-on and self-sufficient engineer, rather than someone specializing only in one layer. The candidate should have strong Python/backend depth, be capable of working across the full stack, and be comfortable owning services in an AWS production environment from development through deployment and operational troubleshooting.

Screening priority: Python FastAPI/Django & REST Full-stack/UI AWS (Lambda/ECS) PostgreSQL/DynamoDB Docker/IaC OpenTelemetry/CloudWatch independent troubleshooting/ownership. C++ should remain a plus rather than a mandatory skill.
