Python Developer – Web Scraping, Automation & AI

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Python scripts for web scraping, data extraction, and automation tasks.
- Use tools and libraries such as Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Requests, and related Python libraries to extract and process data from websites.
- Develop automation scripts for repetitive business and data-processing tasks.
- Integrate OpenAI APIs and other Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications and automation workflows.
- Work with AI models for tasks such as text processing, data classification, summarization, content extraction, and intelligent decision-making.
- Build basic AI-powered workflows using APIs from platforms such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or similar AI providers.
- Understand and work with REST APIs, JSON, API authentication, and third-party integrations.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Python code.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to scraping, automation, API integrations, and AI workflows.
- Handle and process scraped data using appropriate Python libraries and databases.
- Work closely with the development team to understand data and automation requirements and deliver solutions.
- Explore current AI tools, models, libraries, and automation techniques that can improve development and business processes.
- Document code, processes, API integrations, and logic used in scripts.
- Follow best practices related to data handling, API usage, error handling, and application security.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or a related field (or pursuing final year).
- Strong understanding of Python fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and BeautifulSoup. Academic, internship, or personal projects are acceptable.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for understanding and parsing web pages.
- Familiarity with HTTP requests, REST APIs, JSON, and API integrations.
- Basic understanding of OpenAI APIs, LLMs, Generative AI, and AI-based applications.
- Familiarity with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or similar APIs is an advantage.
- Understanding of Python libraries such as Requests, Pandas, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, etc.
- Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and logical-thinking skills.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot Python scripts effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Robust willingness to learn new AI technologies, automation frameworks, and development tools.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Valuable to Have
- Experience working with OpenAI API / ChatGPT API or other LLM APIs.
- Knowledge of Prompt Engineering.
- Basic understanding of embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- Experience integrating AI models with web scraping or automation workflows.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Understanding of Docker or cloud deployment is a plus.
- Experience working with webhooks and third-party APIs.
