Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials, fluoropolymers, chemicals, consumables, packaging materials, and services.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with approved vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.

2. Purchase Planning & Coordination

- Coordinate with production, stores, and planning teams to understand material requirements based on production schedules.
- Ensure timely placement of purchase orders to avoid production delays or stock shortages.

3. Purchase Order Processing

- Prepare, review, and issue purchase orders as per approved requisitions and company policies.
- Track order status and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery.

4. Quality & Specification Compliance

- Ensure materials procured meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to fluoropolymer manufacturing.




- Coordinate with quality and technical teams for material approvals and rejections.

5. Cost Control & Negotiation

- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to optimize procurement costs.
- Monitor market trends for raw materials and suggest cost-saving opportunities.

6. Inventory & Documentation Management

- Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor details, invoices, and delivery documentation.
- Coordinate with stores for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and inventory updates in ERP or manual systems.

7. Compliance & Process Adherence

- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required purchase-related documentation.

8. Continuous Improvement & Reporting

- Identify gaps in procurement processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and transparency.
- Prepare purchase MIS reports, vendor performance reports, and cost analysis for management review.
