Role Description The Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for the organization. This position oversees vendor sourcing and selection, negotiates pricing and contracts, and ensures timely procurement of raw materials, packaging components, lab supplies, and equipment required for formulation and production.

The Purchase

Manager maintains accurate purchase records, monitors inventory levels, and coordinates closely with R&D;, production, quality, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with project timelines and budget goals. The role also involves evaluating supplier performance,



ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards, and continuously improving procurement procedures and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

- Procurement and vendor management skills, including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Inventory and materials management capabilities, such as demand forecasting, stock monitoring, and coordination with warehousing and production.
- Strong analytical and financial skills to manage budgets, compare quotations, analyze cost structures, and optimize purchasing decisions.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech supply chains, including familiarity with GMP-related requirements and documentation for raw materials and equipment.
- Proficiency with procurement and ERP software, MS Excel, and basic data reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across R&D;, production, quality, and finance.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, Pharmacy, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role, preferably within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or advanced manufacturing.
