Job Summary The Purchase Executive is responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and services as per CTAS requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires strict adherence to company procurement policies and coordination with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement Management
- Source and purchase materials, tools, and office supplies as per CTAS requirements.
- Obtain competitive quotations from vendors and negotiate prices to ensure cost savings.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with stores, logistics, and accounts for smooth procurement processes.
2. Vendor & Inventory Coordination
- Maintain and update the approved vendor list with performance records.
- Ensure materials are delivered on time to sites/offices.
- Verify invoices and GRN (Goods Received Note) before processing payments.
3. Compliance & Process Adherence
- Follow CTAS procurement policies for all purchases.
- Ensure purchases align with budgetary guidelines.
- Maintain digital/physical records of all transactions.
4. Cross-Department Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Service/Project Teams – for urgent material requirements.
- Finance Team – for payment processing and audits.
- Admin Team – for office supply procurement.
Skills & Qualifications
Education: Diploma / Degree
Experience: 1-2 years in procurement (preferred).
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Excel (POs, quotations, vendor tracking).
- Basic knowledge of inventory management software.
- Solid negotiation & vendor management.
- Attention to detail in documentation.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
