Role & responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchase activities for PEB projects and manufacturing requirements.

- Source and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for required materials.

- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.

- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

- Follow up on pending orders and maintain delivery schedules.

- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Projects, Stores, Quality, and Accounts teams for procurement requirements.

- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor details, quotations, POs, and related documents.

- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service.

- Handle purchase of structural steel, plates, sections, consumables, hardware, fasteners, fabrication items, and other PEB-related materials.





- Ensure materials are procured according to required specifications and quality standards.

- Resolve issues related to material shortages, delays, quality, and supplier commitments.

- Assist in inventory planning and ensure optimum stock levels.

- Prepare purchase reports and provide regular updates to management.

Preferred candidate profile

- 1 - 4 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement, preferably in PEB, structural steel, fabrication, construction, or engineering industries.

- Candidates with experience in purchasing steel, plates, sections, fasteners, consumables, hardware, and fabrication-related materials will be preferred.

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech candidates with relevant purchase experience can apply.

- Should be willing to coordinate with vendors and suppliers regularly.

- Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period can be preferred.
