Hiring: Purchase Executive – Grain & Feed Raw Materials
We're looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with a strong background in grain procurement and feed raw material trading. If you know the market, have good supplier contacts and can negotiate the best deals, we'd like to hear from you.
Position: Purchase Executive
Experience: [2–5] years in grain purchase / feed raw material sale or purchase
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Location: Zirakpur,Punjab
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure grains and feed raw materials such as maize, soybean meal, DORB, rice bran, DDGS, mustard cake and other ingredients
- Build and maintain a strong network of suppliers, brokers and traders
- Track daily market rates, price trends and crop arrivals across mandis
- Negotiate prices, quantities and delivery terms to get the best value
- Check material quality (moisture, protein, etc.) and coordinate with the team
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts and maintain purchase records
- Plan procurement in line with production requirements and stock levels
- Coordinate logistics, transport and timely delivery of material
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in grain or feed raw material purchase / sale
- Positive knowledge of mandi operations and market trends
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Existing supplier and trader contacts will be an added advantage
- Comfortable with MS Excel and reporting
- Willingness to travel as required
