Position: Psychologist

Location: Odisha (Rural & Urban Areas)

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to support children through screening, early identification of neurodevelopmental concerns, parent counselling, and community-based awareness initiatives across rural and urban areas of Odisha.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct psychological and developmental screening of children to identify developmental and behavioural concerns.

- Support the early identification of neurodevelopmental disorders and developmental difficulties in children.
- Interact with parents and provide parent counselling, guidance, and appropriate referrals based on the child's needs.
- Conduct community-based awareness programs on child development, developmental milestones, behavioural concerns, and early intervention.
- Participate in screening and awareness camps conducted in rural and urban areas of Odisha.
- Travel to different locations across Odisha as required for community outreach and screening activities.
- Maintain accurate records of child screenings, observations, counselling sessions, referrals, and outreach activities.
- Coordinate with therapists, healthcare professionals, schools,



and community organisations when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow child-safety and qualified standards at all times.
- Prepare and submit regular reports related to screening, counselling, and community outreach activities.

Requirements

* Master's degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Counselling Psychology or a relevant field.

- Experience working with children, particularly children with developmental or behavioural concerns, will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact empathetically with children and parents.
- Willingness to travel extensively across rural and urban areas of Odisha.
- Ability to conduct awareness sessions and communicate effectively with community groups.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
