JOB OPENING – PSYCHOLOGISTCARE FOR AUTISM FOUNDATION

Care For Autism Foundation is a parent-led initiative dedicated to supporting children with autism through structured therapies, awareness, and parent training. We focus on building independence, improving communication, strengthening developmental skills, and creating a safe, nurturing environment for every child.

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the psychological, behavioural, emotional, and developmental needs of children with autism and other special needs.

POSITION: PSYCHOLOGISTKEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Psychologist will work closely with children with autism and other developmental needs through individualized assessment, psychological intervention, behaviour support, and parent guidance.

The role includes

- Conducting psychological and developmental assessments as appropriate.
- Understanding each child's developmental, behavioural, emotional, social, and learning needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized intervention goals.
- Providing psychological and behavioural support to children.
- Supporting children in developing communication, social, emotional, cognitive, and adaptive skills.
- Conducting parent counselling and providing practical guidance to families.
- Conducting Parent Management Training (PMT) and parent-awareness sessions where applicable.
- Monitoring children's progress and maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborating with Special Educators, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, ABA Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other professionals.
- Participating in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.




- Guiding parents and caregivers regarding strategies that can be continued at home.
- Supporting behaviour management and positive behaviour strategies.
- Conducting workshops, awareness sessions, and training programs for parents, teachers, and staff when required.
- Maintaining professional records, session notes, assessments, and other required documentation.
- Following ethical, professional, and child-safeguarding practices.
- Continuously learning and staying updated with evidence-based approaches in autism and developmental care.

REQUIREMENTS
- Master's Degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Applied Psychology / Counselling Psychology or relevant qualification.
- RCI Registration / relevant professional registration preferred, depending on the role and scope of practice.
- Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or special needs preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and a strong willingness to learn may also apply.
- Good understanding of child development, behaviour, and developmental needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and child-friendly approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good observation, documentation, and case-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and participate in continuous professional development.
