We are hiring a Psychiatric Social Worker for our Sulur campus. This is a residential post with accommodation and food provided. You will work alongside our psychiatrist, clinical psychologist and nursing team in a full multidisciplinary setup.
What you will do
- Psychosocial assessment at admission, including family, occupational and substance use history
- Daily group therapy, relapse prevention and psychoeducation sessions
- Individual counselling and family counselling
- Supervise residents' personal hygiene, self-care and daily activity schedules
- Maintain case files, progress notes and discharge summaries to MHA 2017 standards
- Discharge planning, aftercare and follow-up
- Participate in ward rounds and case conferences
What we are looking for
- MSW,
preferably with Medical & Psychiatric Social Work specialisation
- Freshers welcome. 1 to 3 years in a de-addiction or psychiatric setting is an advantage
- Fluent Tamil, working English for documentation
- Comfortable with digital record entry
