Job Summary

Sainik Public School is looking for a creative, caring, and dedicated PRT Teacher to teach English and Social Studies (SST) at the primary level. The teacher should be able to create an engaging, activity-based learning environment and develop strong foundational skills among young learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English and SST to primary classes as assigned.
- Prepare and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
- Teach basic Social Studies concepts through stories, activities, discussions, pictures, maps, and real-life examples.
- Use activity-based, experiential, and play-based teaching methods wherever appropriate.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, activities, projects, and teaching-learning materials.
- Conduct regular class tests and assessments and maintain student progress records.
- Provide additional support and remedial teaching to students who need it.
- Encourage students to participate in storytelling, reading, drawing, quizzes, presentations, and other classroom activities.
- Maintain a positive, protected, disciplined, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Maintain teacher diary, lesson plans, attendance, and other academic records.
- Communicate with parents regarding students' academic and behavioural progress.




- Participate in school functions, celebrations, exhibitions, workshops, and co-curricular activities.
- Contribute to classroom displays and innovative learning activities.
- Follow the school's culture, discipline, child-safety policies, and academic procedures.
- May be required to teach other primary subjects/classes according to the school's timetable and requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Principal/Academic Coordinator.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate in English/Social Science or a relevant discipline.
- D.El.Ed./B.Ed./equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as applicable.
- Prior experience teaching primary students will be an advantage.
- Freshers with valuable communication and teaching skills may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
