Job Summary

Lotus Educational Society is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to lead the end-to-end establishment, implementation and execution of its DDU-GKY 2.0 skill development project in Hyderabad, Telangana.

The project focuses on the Telecom sector, with training in the Call Center Executive job role. The Project Manager will be responsible for complete centre setup, recruitment and team formation, infrastructure readiness, project compliance, training operations, mobilization, placement coordination and overall project performance.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing skill development projects, setting up training centres, handling government project documentation and leading teams to achieve training and placement targets.

Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Project Planning and Execution

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the DDU-GKY 2.0 project in Hyderabad.
- Develop a detailed project execution plan, operational calendar, milestones and timelines.
- Ensure achievement of the approved target of 210 candidates across three batches of 70 trainees each.
- Monitor project progress and take corrective action to ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with senior management and relevant government authorities regarding project implementation.

2. Training Centre Setup and Infrastructure Management
- Identify and finalize suitable premises for the training centre and hostel, as applicable.
- Coordinate lease finalization, infrastructure development, classroom setup, computer lab installation and office readiness.
- Ensure the availability of furniture, computers, internet connectivity, CCTV, biometric attendance and other required facilities.
- Coordinate infrastructure readiness, inspections and documentation in accordance with applicable project requirements.
- Ensure the centre is operationally ready before commencement of training.

3. Recruitment and Team Management
- Lead the complete recruitment process for the Hyderabad project.
- Recruit and onboard the Centre Manager, TOT-certified Call Center Executive Trainers, Quality Team Member and other required staff.
- Prepare manpower plans, job descriptions, recruitment schedules and staff deployment plans.
- Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates and coordinate salary negotiations and onboarding.
- Define staff responsibilities, reporting structures, performance indicators and accountability.
- Conduct regular team meetings, review staff performance and resolve operational issues.

DDU-GKY 2.0 Compliance and PER Implementation
- Ensure project execution in accordance with applicable DDU-GKY 2.0 Project Execution Requirements (PER), approved project guidelines and applicable instructions.
- Maintain project documentation, staff records, infrastructure records, attendance records and compliance registers.
- Coordinate centre readiness, inspections, audits and documentation verification.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and required project information through designated portals.
- Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.

5. Mobilization, Enrolment and Batch Management
- Develop and execute the candidate mobilization strategy in coordination with the mobilization team.
- Monitor counselling, candidate registration, eligibility verification and enrolment.
- Plan batch commencement, trainee allocation, training schedules and attendance monitoring.
- Ensure effective coordination between mobilization, training and centre operations teams.
- Track enrolment and batch progress against the approved target.

6. Training Operations and Quality Monitoring
- Supervise the delivery of Call Center Executive training in accordance with the approved curriculum and Qualification Pack.
- Ensure availability of eligible trainers, training materials, practical learning facilities and assessment preparation.
- Monitor attendance, training hours, lesson plans, trainee performance and assessment readiness.
- Coordinate with the Quality Team to address training quality issues and improve operational compliance.
- Maintain a structured review mechanism for training progress and trainee outcomes.

7. Placement and Employer Coordination
- Develop employer partnerships with telecom companies, BPOs, contact centres and customer service organizations.
- Coordinate employer engagement, placement drives, interviews and job opportunities.
- Monitor candidate placement outcomes, appointment documentation and post-placement tracking.
- Ensure placement-related records and supporting evidence are maintained as required.
- Work toward achieving the approved placement and retention requirements.

8. MIS, Reporting and Documentation
- Monitor project data, attendance, enrolment, training progress, assessments, certification and placement status.
- Ensure timely and accurate MIS updates and reporting through designated project systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
- Maintain records of staff recruitment, trainee documentation, infrastructure, compliance and project milestones.
- Track performance indicators and highlight risks, delays and corrective actions.

9. Financial and Administrative Management




- Prepare and monitor the project operating budget in coordination with management.
- Monitor expenditure on rent, infrastructure, salaries, utilities, training operations and other approved expenses.
- Ensure proper documentation of expenses and compliance with organizational financial procedures.
- Coordinate procurement, vendor management and facility maintenance.
- Maintain cost control while ensuring operational readiness and training quality.

10. Leadership and Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead and supervise the project team to ensure accountability and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with the Centre Manager, trainers, Quality Team, mobilization team and placement team.
- Maintain professional relationships with employers, government stakeholders and project partners.
- Escalate operational challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Provide regular project performance updates to senior management.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Social Work, Business Administration or a relevant discipline. A postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in skill development, vocational training or government-funded projects.
- Prior experience in DDU-GKY project implementation will be preferred.
- Experience in training centre setup, recruitment, team management and project execution.
- Knowledge of project compliance, MIS, documentation, mobilization and placement processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and project reporting systems.
- Willingness to work from Hyderabad and manage the project on a full-time basis.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The Project Manager will be evaluated on:

- Timely establishment and operational readiness of the training centre.
- Recruitment and deployment of qualified project staff.
- Achievement of the approved training target of 210 candidates.
- Compliance with applicable PER and project guidelines.
- Timely completion of training batches and required assessments.
- Placement and retention performance against approved project requirements.
- Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reporting and documentation.
- Budget management, operational efficiency and team performance.
