Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager – Precision Manufacturing & Fabrication who can manage manufacturing projects from RFQ/order receipt through production and final delivery.

The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in precision manufacturing, CNC machining, fabrication, or a related engineering environment, along with solid coordination and project execution skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage projects from customer requirement/RFQ to final delivery.
- Understand 2D drawings, 3D models, BOMs, specifications, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate with CNC machining, fabrication, production, quality, engineering, and vendors to ensure timely execution.
- Prepare and track project schedules, production status, and delivery timelines.
- Follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure on-time production and delivery.
- Coordinate with customers regarding technical queries, design clarifications, revisions, delivery timelines, and project updates.
- Work closely with the costing/engineering team on RFQs,



feasibility, costing inputs, and quotations.
- Identify production or delivery issues and drive timely resolution.
- Monitor quality, rework, rejection, and delivery commitments.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, and regular status updates.
- Ensure smooth coordination between customer, engineering, production, procurement, quality, and suppliers.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and customer communication.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2–3 years of experience in project management/project coordination within precision manufacturing, CNC machining, fabrication, sheet metal, or engineering manufacturing.
- Good understanding of CNC machining and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T;/tolerances.
- Experience coordinating with production teams and external vendors.
- Strong follow-up and execution skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel/project tracking tools.
- Engineering qualification such as Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

Good to Have

- Experience working with low-volume/high-mix or prototype manufacturing.
- Exposure to 5-axis machining, sheet metal fabrication, rapid prototyping, vacuum casting, or precision components.




- Experience handling aerospace, automotive, defense, medical, or industrial projects.
- Exposure to ERP/MRP or manufacturing project management tools.
