Qualification & Experience
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
- Project Management certification such as PMP will be an advantage.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in mechanical/project execution, preferably in EPC, Oil & Gas, Process Plants, Semiconductor, Industrial or similar project environments.
- Experience in handling multiple projects/sites across India.
- Strong experience in project planning, execution, client coordination, material management and manpower management.
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, manage and execute projects from mobilisation through completion and handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and take corrective action for delays.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, HR, Finance, QA/QC, HSE and Site teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure project activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and contractual requirements.
- Monitor project productivity, manpower utilisation and overall site performance.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
Ensure timely completion of project activities and contractual milestones
Project Coordination
- Act as the central coordination point between the client, site team, HO, vendors and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and monitor action points.
- Coordinate inter-departmental activities to avoid delays in project execution.
- Prepare and review project progress reports, MIS, manpower reports and project status updates.
- Escalate critical project issues to management with appropriate recommendations.
- Coordinate mobilisation, demobilisation and transfer of manpower, tools, equipment and materials between projects.
Client Management
- Maintain effective professional relationships with clients and project representatives.
- Attend client meetings and address project-related technical, commercial and execution issues.
- Understand client requirements and ensure timely compliance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with clients for approvals, drawings, work fronts, inspections, material approvals and project clearances.
- Handle client complaints and resolve project-related issues promptly.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of project reports, documentation and billing-related inputs.
- Support the commercial team in managing variations, additional works and scope changes.
D. Material Management
- Plan material requirements based on project schedules and site requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Stores for timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Monitor material availability at site and prevent project delays due to material shortages.
- Ensure materials are procured as per approved specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
- Monitor material receipt, inspection, storage, issue and utilisation.
- Maintain proper control over material consumption and minimise wastage.
- Coordinate inter-site transfer of surplus/critical materials wherever required.
- Monitor material reconciliation and support cost-control initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting
- Review daily/weekly/monthly project progress reports.
- Maintain project schedules, MOMs, action trackers and project documentation.
- Monitor project KPIs including progress, productivity, manpower, material consumption, cost and schedule.
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status, risks and critical issues.

- Solid project planning and execution skills.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Strong material and resource management capability.
- Good knowledge of project schedules, MS Project/Primavera and MS Excel.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Commercial awareness and cost-control orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Strong reporting, MIS and documentation skills Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
