Required 3+ years executing on-site projects (Telecom / IT / Automation / AI) in heavy industries

Position Summary :The Project Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end, on-site execution of Bidaal's Industrial AI projects — from initiation through commissioning to client handover. The role acts as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, contractors, and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring that ELV infrastructure, civil/electrical/mechanical works, and project documentation are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and in compliance with SOPs, industry standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, execution-focused, and comfortable operating at the intersection of engineering, project management, and on-ground team leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Execute Industrial AI Projects right from initiation to completion on-site in heavy industries. Commission the entire ELV Infrastructure including CCTV & Network Installation, Server/Edge Setup, Sensors & Electrical Installations, and manage all Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical works on site.



Develop and monitor project plan, technical specifications, timelines, milestones, and budget estimates, ensuring alignment with client requirements, scope of work, and deliverables with industry best practices. Onboard, supervise, and mentor a team of contractors, technicians, and engineers on-site, ensuring team morale and smooth execution. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Software, AI, Engineering, and Procurement teams to deliver scalable solutions. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Ensure compliance with SOPs, industry standards, safety regulations, and on-site project compliances. Conduct toolbox meetings, manage attendance and material logs, record project expenses, and maintain project documentation, layouts & diagrams, compliance paperwork, and handover files. Assist with client training, operational transition, and deliver handover sessions.
- Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3 years of experience executing on-site projects of a similar nature — Telecom/IT/Automation/AI — in heavy industries. Basic practical, hands-on understanding of Electrical and Networking systems in heavy industrial scenarios. Fluent in spoken & written English. Expertise in traditional waterfall project management approaches. Project Management Certifications such as PMP/Prince2 are an added advantage.

- Proficiency with Project Management tools such as ERP, MS Projects, Zoho Projects, or similar. Exceptional communication and crisis management skills. Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to handle urgent deadlines, shifting priorities, and a dynamic, fast-paced work setting.

- Projects executed and commissioned on time, within scope, and within budget. Fully commissioned ELV infrastructure (CCTV, network, server/edge, sensors, electrical) at each site. 100% compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and on-site project requirements with zero major incidents. Complete, audit-ready project documentation — layouts, diagrams, compliance paperwork, and handover files. Smooth client handover and operational transition, including completed client training sessions. Well-supervised, motivated on-site team of contractors, technicians, and engineers.
