Position: Project Coordinator Digital Literacy (Urban)

Location: Bangalore

Reports to: State Head

Tenure: 1 Year

Role Overview: The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the Digital &

- Financial Empowerment Programme for senior citizens across the state. The position requires close engagement with senior citizen associations, community volunteers, community stakeholders, and project teams to ensure effective program delivery, achievement of targets, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

Programme Implementation &
- Coordination

- Coordinate and oversee programme implementation across designated districts and urban locations.

- Develop and maintain a database of Senior Citizen Associations (SCAs), Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), clubs, elder groups, and urban slum communities.

- Ensure adherence to project timelines, guidelines, and quality standards.

- Monitor programme activities and provide regular updates to the State Program Manager, State Head, and Programme Lead.

Training &
- Capacity Building

- Organize and facilitate monthly digital, financial, and legal literacy workshops for senior citizens.

- Conduct awareness sessions on digital safety, cyber fraud prevention, online services, financial inclusion, and legal rights.

- Train and mentor youth volunteers to support programme implementation.

- Build local resource networks to strengthen outreach and programme impact.

Monitoring, Reporting &
- Documentation

- Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly programme targets.

- Collect, verify, and maintain programme data for monitoring and evaluation.

- Prepare and submit progress reports, MIS reports, success stories,



photographs, videos, and case studies.

- Track participant feedback and recommend improvements to enhance programme effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Build and maintain robust relationships with SCAs, RWAs, elder groups, banks, financial institutions, legal authorities, and community stakeholders.

- Support stakeholder consultations, programme reviews, and planning meetings.

- Represent the programme at local events, networking forums, and observances such as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) and International Day of Older Persons (IDOP).

Administrative Support

- Coordinate logistics for workshops, training programmes, and outreach activities.

- Maintain records of programme activities, attendance, and volunteer engagement.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and project requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications &
- Experience

- Bachelors degree in Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, Education, Management, or a related field.

- 1 to 3 years of experience in programme coordination, community development, outreach, training, or related social sector projects.

- Experience working with senior citizens, digital literacy, financial inclusion, or community-based programmes will be preferred.
