Program Manager – Virtual Events

Location: Gurgaon/Delhi NCR (hybrid) | Experience: 6–10 years | Reports to: Director

About the role

Technofocus runs large-scale technical enablement programs for global technology companies. We're building a virtual events practice to deliver 150+ live and simu-live workshops a quarter across the AMER, EMEA and APAC time zones. You'll own this program from start to finish: calendar, platform, team, client relationship and results.

What you'll do

- Own the quarterly events calendar, from workshop intake to post-event reporting
- Be the main point of contact for client program owners, and run weekly status calls and quarterly business reviews
- Lead a team of about 8–10: platform builders, virtual event producers, editors and support/reporting staff
- Oversee the full event lifecycle on Cvent: registration sites, email journeys, the attendee experience and integrations
- Plan producer shift rosters to cover all 3 time zones, including AMER evening hours
- Run simu-live operations: recording approvals, file readiness and live Q&A; moderation
- Manage speaker readiness: onboarding, tech checks, run-of-show and rehearsals




- Deliver hackathons with multiple time zones, breakouts and mentor coordination
- Track KPIs (registration-to-attendance rate, satisfaction scores, completion rates, incident count) and publish dashboards
- Build SOPs, templates and checklists so delivery scales without adding headcount
- Handle escalations during live events and write post-incident reviews

What you need
- 8+ years in event or program management, including 3+ years running virtual events or webinars at scale
- Hands-on experience with Cvent (Attendee Hub, Webinar or Event Management). ON24, Zoom Events or Teams Webinars experience is a plus.
- A track record of running 30+ events a quarter at the same time
- Experience managing a team of 5 or more
- Experience delivering to enterprise or global tech clients, with robust stakeholder communication
- Comfort with Excel/Power BI reporting
- Flexibility to cover US time zone events a few evenings a week

Nice to have
- Background in technical training or partner enablement programs
- Experience running hackathons
- PMP, CSM or CMP certification
