VPMM Group of Educational Institutions is seeking qualified and dedicated faculty members for the Department of Sociology. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, student mentoring, academic activities, and contributing to the overall development of the department.

Qualification:

- M.A. Sociology from a recognized university.
- NET/SET/SLET qualification as per applicable UGC norms preferred/required as applicable.
- Ph.D. in Sociology preferred.
- Robust academic background with excellent communication and teaching skills.

Experience:

- Relevant teaching experience in a college or university preferred.
- Freshers with strong academic credentials may also be considered, subject to applicable norms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct undergraduate/postgraduate Sociology classes.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Mentor students in academic and career development.
- Conduct seminars, workshops, discussions, and other academic activities.




- Encourage student participation in research and social studies projects.
- Contribute to research, publications, and departmental activities.
- Maintain academic records and documentation.
- Participate in institutional development and quality-assurance activities.

Candidate Profile:

- Strong knowledge of Sociology and social sciences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good teaching and student-mentoring abilities.
- Research-oriented and academically motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and digital teaching tools.
